In order to win over converts at the trade shows, Mason & Hamlin constructed this display that demonstrates in an actual size model (an AA) how the famed tension resonator was built into the rim of the piano to preserve the crown of the board. Mini versions of this model were made for sales people to use in the piano showrooms.
