The Steinert Concert Grand is a nearly identical copy of the Steinway D. There is one extra bar in the plate in the spot where Steinway left a gap that seemed to be calling for a bar. The length and other dimensions appear to be the same.
The action however is a Wessel, Nickel & Gross design, much like a Mason & Hamlin.
This piano has a new soundboard, new action, new real ivory keys and a new pinblock as of the 1980s.
