Alpheus Babcock Square #170

This piano spent most of its life in Mexico at the US embassy, before traveling to a private home in the 1970s. Recently it has made its third move to here in Hopkinton. Again it is a Ruth MacKay piano and is very similar to our other Babcock in structure though the case is more refined. It is amazing that there are still more than 100 Babcocks in existence nearly 200 years later. This piano was used in the production of Little Women released in 2019.
