Mason & Hamlin Model A Grand

The closest the piano industry ever got to building the perfect piano was the Mason & Hamlin model Ax6, There are many variations, beginning with the model A and working up the scale to the Ax9 at least. Though the Ax9 and Ax7 are nearly as good, the Ax6 seems to have been the ultimate in a small grand piano. Mason & Hamlin spared no expense in its building and tried to consider the needs and wants of the piano player at every turn in the design of the instrument.
