Brett Micrometer Upright

Part of the non-pinblock group, this piano has a system whereby the string is attached to a rotating plate and the plate rides on a square headed bolt. By turning the bolt head the plate is moved and the string is tightened or loosened. Because the salespeople in the dealers didn't want to have to make excuses for the other pianos in the showroom, they would have the Bretts moved to the back. When no customers ever saw the pianos the company failed.
