Henry F. Miller Upright #7763 (1875)
Make: Henry F. Miller
Model:
Type: Upright
Serial: 7763
Year: 1875
Size: 60"
This upright is one of the earliest and biggest made by the Miller Company. The label under the keys indicates it was made on Washington Street in Boston. Like the Chickering upright the action including keys, slides out as in a grand, but leaves behind the entire damper system. this makes it so much easier to adjust the dampers since there are no other action parts in the way.
